Alan Mendleson has had a passion for home building, starting as a carpenter building his first business, ANM Carpentry, Inc. into one of the industry’s largest on the East Coast providing exemplary work.  After selling his business, he and his wife Enid established Mendleson Development Company.  Along with his nephew, Jason Selleck, they have built Mendleson Development Company’s strong reputation for exceptional architectural quality and service.

With more than 10 years of experience as a project manager on large home & commercial construction projects in Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC, Jason brings a strong foundation of experience to his position as project manager for Mendelson Development Company.  Jason leads a team of expert contractors, which are skilled in every detail of home design and construction.  He shares his uncle’s passion for home building constantly seeking the highest quality materials and construction methods to offer the latest in home construction trends and to meet the needs and desires of homeowners.

Enid not only knows homes.  More importantly, Enid knows homebuyers – not only what they regard as aesthetically pleasing and functional in a home’s design, but also what transforms a client’s dream into a dream home.   

Enid has the innate ability to look beyond color, fabrics, furniture and schematics.  She will work closely with the client to explore the latest in layout, design features, color combinations and use of space.
