Dr. Stacie Buck specializes in clinical and surgical treatment of foot & ankle problems and injuries. Her skills as a board certified foot and ankle reconstructive surgeon and personal experience as an athlete and former ballerina led to her special interest in sports medicine including biomechanics, corrective surgery, and diagnosis & treatment of problems related to running and ballet. 

As a child, Dr. Buck suffered from flat feet which complicated her ability to advance in pointe ballet. Her podiatrist helped her manage the problem with custom orthotics which enabled her to continue her activities. That early experience inspired her to pursue a career in podiatry so she could help others overcome foot and ankle problems. 

Dr. Buck welcomes challenging cases and gets great satisfaction from diagnosis and treatment of foot & ankle problems, especially correcting mechanics and eliminating pain that can help resolve related pain in the knees, hips and back. Her patients appreciate her caring manner, knowledge and honesty. 

An avid distance runner, Dr. Buck has run races in the District of Columbia and 27 states, with a goal to compete in all 50.
